Flyebaby Winner

Thanks to everyone for all of your silly, funny, embarrassing and endearing kiddo stories – they ALL made me chuckle. :)

I chose the winner of this contest, because, well… she backed up her story with a hilarious video of her little man “dancing”. This mommy had me rolling with her entry, but when I saw the video I couldn’t help but make her a winner.

“My 10 month old son loves to dance, anytime he hears music he goes nuts. It started out with bouncing up and down on his bottom and then somehow turned into humping. Now anytime music comes on, it could be a commercial or really any type of… music, he gets on all fours and starts humping away. Hilarious yes but at the same time embarrassing because you see people now like to joke that he’s been watching mom and dad too much which is most definitely not true. That’s the funniest I’ve got in our 10 month amazing adventure as parents. :)”

I won’t post the video because it’s on Kaleigh’s personal facebook page, but I assure you, it was adorable. :) Congratulations Kaleigh – just send me your mailing address so I can get your jungle-print Flyebaby to you!

And thanks again – I loved reading your stories about potty training trials, snarky 2-year-olds, curious kiddos and embarrassingly innocent conversations with your wee ones.

Stay tuned for another Flyebaby giveaway sometime in May (possibly June). In the meantime, I’ll try to get Adam to say something funny. :)

Reminder: Win a free Flyebaby!

Just a few more days for you to share your funny or embarrassing baby or kid stories – COME ON, I know everyone has a truckload of stories. Raising kids is a comedy for everyone!

“FlyeBaby is a portable, hammock-style fabric seat that folds up and easily fits in a diaper bag. It creates a comfortable, secure place to put your baby on an airplane, at home, at a restaurant or at the beach or pool. It is machine-washable and comes with a matching fabric storage bag.”

FlyeBaby Review (& CONTEST!)

Hellooooooooooo! My apologies for being MIA, but I’ve been broken.

And because I’ve been broken, I had to cancel my trip to go visit my family. :(

And because I had to cancel my trip to go visit my family, I didn’t get a chance to use Ellie’s new FlyeBaby that I was so darned excited about. BUT… I lent it to a fellow new mommy, and fortunately she’s a great writer who was happy to do a review for me. Yay! So without further ado…

FlyeBaby Review By Talon’s Mommy

I was super excited to use the Flyebaby as it was my five month old baby, Talon’s, first time on a plane. Opening the bag I was a little intimidated by all of the straps but set up turned out to be very simple and straight forward.

I decided to set the Flyebaby up before take off so all I had to do was buckle the waist strap when I was ready to put Talon in it. The stewardess was intrigued by my contraption and only requested that I tuck the straps in the seat pocket until we were in the air.

Once I had everything set up it was the moment of truth. Would my otherwise feisty five month old sit still and enjoy the ride or fight, kick and scream?

To my delight he loved the Flyebaby. It was so nice for us to be able to face each other during the five hour flight and super convenient for me to have two free hands.

I was lucky enough to have my husband and his mother with me so I’m not sure how easy set up would be if I were flying alone. I ecstatically recommend the Flyebaby to anyone traveling with an infant. It was a wonderful, stress-free start to our family vacation in Maui.

I’m so glad Talon’s Mommy (my gal Jen) enjoyed the contraption – I had no doubts. Thank goodness I fly a lot, so as soon as this gimp leg heals Ellie & I are FlyeBabying it up! Oh, and even though I didn’t get to do the plane review, I can tell you all that the Flyebaby worked great on my dining room chairs! :)

Now, as promised… YOUR CHANCE TO WIN A FLYEBABY OF YOUR OWN. New moms, seasoned moms, dads grandparents aunties and uncles listen up… win this contest and you’ll be the proud owner of a Jungle Flyebaby for your little munchkin. This is the jungle print (so cute!):

Here’s the deal… I’ve been sitting on my ass watching things like Wizards of Waverly Place on Netflix for over a month. I need some humor in my life right now. So, make me laugh. It’s that simple!

Tell me your funniest and/or most embarrassing baby or kiddo story.

In about a week, I’ll share some on the blog and pick a winner. This isn’t a random contest, I’ll be choosing my favorite – so give me your best shot! I know you’ve all got some stories (possibly some airplane horror stories?)!

Share your stories in the comments section of this post, or on the Superwife Facebook Page to enter). The last day for entries will be April 4th – and yes, you can enter more than once!

Good Luck!
