It’s kind of like Woot.com… remember that site? I loved that one too, but they didn’t ship to AK so I never bought anything. Groupon has deals based in Anchorage, so it’s pretty damn dangerous.
Anyway… my love for Groupon is what has me suuuuper excited for a new site called MOOLALA. It’s another daily deals site, but with rewards. You get 2% back on whatever deals you buy… plus if your friends buy deals, you get 2% of that. And if their friends buy deals, you get 2%. And friends’ friends’ friends. Aaaaand your friends’ friends’ friends’ friends? 2%. It’s 5 tiers, and you get 2% back on ALL of the deals thay ANY of them purchase. And the deals are promised to be fantastical (50-90% off!).
Coincidentally, a friend of a friend just got hired on with Moolala, and the hype I’ve been hearing is crazy. The site hasn’t launched yet but it will in the next few weeks — build up your network (Moolala calls it a “paymatrix”) now! It’s totally free to sign up.

It’s awesome that you posted this. BTW, Molly mentioned that you “google” everything regarding Ellie. I do too with our baby. The other day our doctor referred to our “other” doctor as Dr. Google. ie, I know what you read on Dr. Google, but my recommendation is…
