Passing the torch

Putting this blog on hiatus was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. That might sound silly, but it was like confirmation that I what I was going through was real. There was no more fluff I could post about that wouldn’t give away what I was going through, and I surely wasn’t ready to announce it. As I’m sure many of my readers can relate to, I used this journal as an outlet and found writing about my life very cathartic- and not to mention entertaining. Because this was something that was so close to my heart, I thought long and hard about what I wanted to do with it long term. It took awhile before I had my “aha!” moment, but once I did the answer was clear. I’ve blogged several times about one of my dearest friends Jenny, of JennyFast.com. She and I are friends in the real world (lol) and is easily one of the few women in my life I would call a superwife without reservation. Not to mention she is probably ten times funnier than I am, absolutely beautiful and uses her fancy journalism degree to both write better than me and beat me at scrabble. Often.

I am still working at finding just the right domain name to call home, and when I do I’ll be sure to share that ASAP. As for now, I hope you all stay subscribed and enjoy the new Superwife as much as I do in real life :)
