An explanation of sorts

Posted by Molly on December 8th, 2009. Filed under: VINTAGE: Early SW Posts by MissMolly (Now of MoreThanHeels.com).

Not sure how many RSS readers this will pop up on, but I figured I should probably sack up and finally explain my absence.

Bottom line, Ben and I got a divorce.

The gray areas in between have been punctuated with much heartache and tears, but also with personal growth. It’s been a rough road, but we’ve managed to salvage a friendship and I’m thankful for that. He’s doing well, as am I. I’m living in Arizona again, and am wrapping up Aesthetician school :)

I desperately miss blogging, and I miss all of you. I finally decided to put this back up for the sake of all the tasty recipes I’ve posted, and to offer a little closure to what was a big part of my life for several years. Before too long I’ll start up with a new domain, and I’ll be sure to communicate that when it does happen.

In the meantime, you can find me on twitter.

Thank you all for your support, and my sincerest apologies for the sudden disappearance.

I read this and my heart dropped right into my stomach! :( I’m SO sorry. I’ve been reading your superwife blog for a while now and came to view you also as superfriend, superdaughter, supersister, superactivist……superperson. Wishing you inner peace and happiness :)

I’m sorry to hear all the bad news, but it sounds like there is good news to and I know a positi future awaits ya. I kept checking in wondering what happened to ya, and finally just thought you might not return and I was disappointed.

Glad to have you back. :)

ps. And now I can go back and find that peanut butter filled chocolate cookies recipe I bookmarked but disappeared and print it out to finally try!

Molly, I too have always loved your blog, recipes and writings, and missed you when you popped off the horizon. I admire you for your courage of writing about what’s happened in your life. It takes a lot of strength. Even the way you posted about it was very sincere and personal, yet not revealing too much. (Which is something I always liked about your blog.) I got divorced 1.5 years ago and I know it’s an extremely tough time so wishing you strength and courage through these times.
    Best wishes,
    Angie
