I stumbled on this and HAD to try it.

I used Bob's Red Mill Gluten-free flour, real butter, Chunky PB, and a banana instead of eggs.

The flour set differently and the tops of the cookies didn't really crack, but the banana was a WONDERFUL choice.

Thank you for the recipe. I was thinking of adding some white chocolate chips on top of the cookies make it more appealing

Try adding more diabetes to the population. These will do the trick nicely.

Try adding 1/4 cup of finely ground graham cracker crumbs to your pb mix - it will REALLY make it taste like a reese's cup. gives it that grainy texture without changing the taste.

Oh yes! They get cheers of approval from me here and will go into the file under delicious! I think you have so much patience to make them look so similar, mine will be much more uneven and wonky as I have so little patience when it comes to the important little bits that make the difference.
I can not wait to bake a tray of these myself though!

Beautiful photos and yummy treats! One suggestion; get away from vanilla extract, (35% booze). Try whole vanilla beans next time. I bought some at an online Juliet Mae Spices. Great value and much better than extract. I talked to a woman at Juliet Mae, and she said if you must use extract at least make it yourself. I googled a recipe and it is as easy as vodka and vanilla beans. Juliet Mae also had a spice called Cinnamon Rose which I plan to try in pie crust. Yum!
