I should probably be sleeping

I met with Matt of MKinMotion today to discuss his ‘vision’ around a secret project which involves his keen intellect, my sparkling personality (ha) and the interweb, v2.0. He’s a master of all that is social networking and soon to be digital media as well, so I’m excited to be on board for this, and I think it has the potential to be really cool. What is it, you might ask? You’re just going to have to wait and see :)
We had lunch at Natural Pantry which is a staple in my diet these days as it’s close to my work and has decent vegan grub. I really mostly go there because it’s easy on the brain, as they label all their deli food as to whether or not it’s vegan. They also have a sit down dining area that has big windows so I can enjoy some sunlight on my lunch break, with a few alternative periodicals to peruse while digesting.
While I was there, I picked up some sprouting jars. Ever since keeping my houseplant alive, I’ve had an itch to explore my green thumb. I’m going to start small with sprouts, and hopefully that goes well. Maybe next summer I’ll actually get one of those neat collapsable greenhouses or something. Anyway, I’ll snap some pictures of my sprouting jars as they make progress. Tasty lentil and alfalfa sprout sammiches, here I come!

Look, see? We actually leave the house from time to time. We went on a little picnic down at Goose Lake on Tuesday and took the hound. She thought she was pretty BA when she chased some Seagulls. Please note two things- first, these pictures were taken at about 9:45 PM and secondly, yes, those children really are swimming. It was about 52 degrees outside. We left because it was too cold and windy. WTF???
Okay, so I reeeally should get to bed, so I’ll leave you with this incredible YouTube video I happened across this evening. I can’t exactly claim to be good at guessing when people will become famous (I saw Jessica Simpson sing on the Donny and Marie show in late ’99 and said ‘she sucks, she isn’t going anywhere‘) but I think this little girl is too talented to ignore! Maybe we’ll all say in a few years, ‘oh yeah, I saw that girl on YouTube ages ago’.
